Only residents living and/or owing property in the Township of O'Connor can obtain a permit. Permits are conditional and may be revoked at any time.

You can burn brush piles, debris, field/crop, windrows, grass. For a full definition please see the Township of O'Connor's By-law 2021-08, a by-law to regulate open air burning and issuing of fire permts.
If you want to have an open-air fire then yes, you need an approved permit. Campfires measuring 1m x 1m x 1m (3.3' x 3.3' x 3.3') for cooking food, warmth and recreational enjoyment is exempt and does not require a permit.
